Nice hotel but would have ben better in a room with a lift.

Did not use restaurant because my Grandson was poorly.

The room we has was in an annex and did not have a lift has to get up two flights of stair.

The staff were wonderful...anything you needed they gave with a smile..

The rooms need a face lift...they were..not to say bad...but outdated...the bathroom needs to be renewed...but they were very clean....but old...

When checking staff could not find my reservation it took about twenty minutes . The girl at reception becky did not belive me until I found the conformation message I have on my phone she was arrogant to deal with. The beds were very hard I got little or no sleep.

We still love The Arklow bay and will return again next year.

Love the location for us, we visit once a year for Grandparents buried in Arklow. We love the hotel and always stay here, always eat dinner in the hotel too. Unfortunately the price is very expensive to stay On Friday or Saturdays so always have to take time off work to go weekdays.

We love the property albeit the rooms are slightly dated now and the price increases to stay here.

A pleasant stay overall but some areas need focussing on

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Most staff were very friendly and professional. The amenities such as the spa, gym, and pool were great to have on site! Also this hotel has a great location very close to a lot of nice scenic places such as Avoca and Glendalough.

I felt that the food menu in the bar was overpriced and the choice of food was not too varied. When I visited this hotel in 2015 the selection of food was much better and also better value for money. Also, I found it odd that the household staff called to your room in this evening circa 4/5pm to ask if you wanted your room cleaned. We were interrupted whilst getting ready to go out on 2 evenings. Shouldn't the rooms be cleaned in the morning or early afternoon? Lol

Breakfast ran out of hot food, we had to wait. The poor waitress was run off her feet with no help. In the bedroom there was no net curtain so if we have the heavy curtains open, everyone can see into the room from the busy carpark

Bed was so comfy. Breakfast was very filling . We used the leisure facilities and enjoyed that. The Hotel is located in a great walking area. We strolled along the sea front.

Lovely hotel with great staff and food in a good location.

Lovely breakfast, friendly helpful staff, nice pool and leisure facilities. Delicious bar food at a decent price. We will be back to stay again, can't fault it. Receptionist explained everything to us really clearly and nicely.

An expected great short stay!!

Staff were brilliant! Dinner in the Ferrybank was delicious, Th bar staff were excellent. The entertainment was great. The hotel is so spacious. cant wait to go back! I am looking forward to going back and trying out the spa!

Pleasant stay, staff excellent..Little overpriced as the bathroom not up to standard in my opinion.

The staff were fantastic,especially Marion on reception..Friendly,nothing to much trouble for her.. The Ferry lounge was great, food good and staff again excellent...Ate in the restaurant Friday evening , nice atmosphere, food good.

Stayed in room 220 , bathroom let it down, needs attention, very grubby around bath and chip in bath.. Booked an alarm call for 6am and room service coffee and toast for 6.30 on the 20th as had to leave for the airport at 6.45.. We never received call or breakfast.. Smokers at the front door reception constantly not a good look ,especially Saturday evening when there was a wedding on..Came back with some friends for a night cap and had to push passed them there were so many....

The staff were absolutely wonderful, and the food and the service in the restaurant were outstanding. The staff and waiters were knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel totally at ease. Don’t let that staff go!

It was ok but not great

I liked the mini crossiants at breakfast and outside the view at the lake is nice and most of the food is nice

Room was very small and beds were small, hallways had a weird smell damp, the bar isnt great at all, feels and looks more like a function room, and i asked for a whiskey and got it in a tall slim glass meant for soft drinks and not in a proper whiskey glass and the explanation i got was "oh well thats what we serve whiskey in" never in my life have i been served a whiskey in a tall slim pub glass, no self respecting barman would ever give you a whiskey like that so i would say you have a very poor barman working for you and your staff should inform you that you need the proper glasses to serve spirits in ... if im going to pay good money for a nice whiskey i want it in a proper glass, thats my hard earned cash im spending

WE HAD A LOVELY TIME AT THE WEDDING WE ATTENDED BUT THE LET DOWN WAS THE BEDROOMS BEDS FAR TO HARD

THE LOCATION WAS GREAT . THE STAFF AND THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT.

THE BEDROOMS WERE NOT GREAT FOR THE PRICE FOR ONE NIGHT 179.00 AND THE BEDS WERE VERY HARD . DID NOT SLEEP VERY WELL . BATHROOM SHOWER NOT VERY CLEAN GROUTING BLACK AND FLOW OF WATER GOING DOWN THE DRAIN VERY SLOW. WATER SPILLING OUT ON TO FLOOR .
